Girl survives Panama crash that kills 3

Francesca, a 12-year-old U.S. girl who was the only survivor of a weekend plane crash, was found Tuesday walking near the wreckage of the plane in the 3,500-feet (1,067-meter) high, jungle-laden flanks of the Baru. The crash of the Cessna 172 on Sunday killed Francesca's friend Talia Klein, 13, Klein's father, Michael Klein, 37, of Santa Barbara, California, and Panamanian pilot Edwin Lasso, 23.A 12-year-old U.S. girl who was the sole survivor of a weekend plane crash that killed three others in Panama was airlifted Wednesday to a hospital.
