Complaints from grumpy travelers jump sharply

Every big airline says it is working hard to improve baggage handling. So far this year, every big airline is failing. One in every 138 checked bags went missing during the first nine months of this year, compared to one in 155 bags a year earlier. All these problems are making travelers grumpy, an annual survey of airline quality says.
